So what did you manage to do this summer? Did you accomplish everything you set out to accomplish? Clean your garage? Build a campfire? Paint a wall? Sleep under the stars? If your summer wish list remains unfinished, despair not. You are not alone, as the notes below show. They were gathered by Illegal Art, a collective of artists in New York, which used 6,000 Post-it notes to spell out the words "To Do" on windows and billboards across the city. Passers-by were then invited to write on the blank notes, to cover them with descriptions of tasks they hadn't gotten around to this summer. A few of the collected notes appear on today's page, all in their original handwriting - a catalog of unfinished business just waiting for the fall.
